Forecast in London
It's so important keep the weather in mind before deciding on a hair style.
When the weather is decidedly contrary, (when isn't it?) try and preplan so you have the hair you want to end up with. Hair scrunching, rearranging and constant fretting is not the way to spend your time.
One of my favorite Type 1 hair movie stars, straight from the United Kingdom is Kate Winslet. Kate’s hair is "human". It fails, frizzes and collapses. It isn't "perfect- perfect" all the time.
The more ridiculous the weather, the more likely you will end up wringing your hands and singing, "I Who Have Nothing” by evening's end, without a little planning.
A few dos and don’ts for Type 1’s:
Do not sleep on wet hair the night before
Do prep your hair with a leave-in conditioner after your wash. (it’s a 10 miracle leave-in conditioner spray product)
Do not go for tight curls that aren’t in keeping with your type 1 hair
Do put your hair up if long enough. Twists and tucks secured with bobby pins are always attractive
Do keep fly away far from your short bob by following steps 1 and 2 above and giving yourself an extreme volume blow dry followed with a finishing spray.
